Understanding what's really involved, anchoring the project in a context that gives it weight, working across disciplines.
Listening and clarifying
Every engagement begins with skillful listening and a rigorous diagnosis
This groundwork guides every visual decision and often refines the objectives, the content, even the positioning. Twenty years across very different contexts — cultural, institutional, commercial — sharpen the ability to read what's really at stake, hear what isn't being said, and clarify what's unclear before form comes into play. The solution is already in the project; my role is to decode it.
Cultural anchoring
A project rooted in a relevant cultural context goes beyond mere visual distinction
It becomes a landmark, something people want to belong to. This dimension is at the heart of the work, fed by hands-on practice, an ongoing curiosity, a fine arts background and a visual artist's practice.
Transversal
My practice draws on fields that reach well beyond design
My work unfolds without fixed boundaries between consulting, art direction, graphic design, content development and project coordination. The same sensibility runs through all of it, attentive to both meaning and form, and lets me work across multiple levels and varied disciplines with coherence and intention.
